Collect of the Day:
Almighty
God, the martyred innocents of Bethlehem showed forth Your praise not by
speaking but by dying. Put to death in
us all that is in conflict with Your will that our lives may bear witness to
the faith we profess with our lips; through Jesus Christ, our Lord, who lives
and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

The Fourth
Commandment
Honor your
father and your mother.
What does this
mean?
We should fear
and love God
so that we do
not despise or anger our parents
and other
authorities,
but honor
them, serve and obey them, love and cherish them.
The Fifth
Commandment
You shall not
murder.
What does this
mean?
We should fear
and love God
so that we do
not hurt or harm our neighbor in his body,
but help and
support him in every physical need.
