The Lord reigns; he is robed in majesty;
the Lord is robed; he has put on strength as his belt.
Yes, the world is established; it shall never be moved.
2 Your throne is established from of old;
you are from everlasting.
3 The floods have lifted up, O Lord,
the floods have lifted up their voice;
the floods lift up their roaring.
4 Mightier than the thunders of many waters,
mightier than the waves of the sea,
the Lord on high is mighty!
5 Your decrees are very trustworthy;
holiness befits your house,
O Lord, forevermore.
The LORD God has done many great things in this world. He has taught his children many lessons. One lesson I urge you all to teach on another is not to stink. Nobody, likes to be the smelly kid in school. For centuries people used perfumes and oils to help cover up their own stink. It was even in Rome where the elite built great bath houses to dip themselves in water.
There are still these two main ways to not be stinky. First, is cover it up with other smells, which still makes you smelly. Second, be washed clean of all your filth and dirt. This may be stretching the testimony that God has given to you in Water.
You can either try to cover up your sinful life with acts of niceness or good works or be washed clean by the blood of Christ in Baptism (done by water). It is the Flood, which baptized God's entire creation. It is the water pour, sprinkled or covers you connected with the Word of God, which removes your sins. Don't be the smelly kid in class, and don't just try to cover up your sins, Let Jesus remove them from you.
